Basis Identification Point of Phra Somdej Wat Rakang Pim Yai (1)

Phra Somdej Wat Rakang made by Somdej Phra Buddhachan Toh Phromrangsi (Somdej Toh) at Wat Rakang Kosittaram size is appoximately 2.3x3.5 cm., thick 0.4-0.6 cm. Phra Somdej Wat Rakang Pim Yai or Pim Phra Prathan (the biggest Buddha status in the main hall of Wat Rakang Kosittaram) is the standard Pim of amulets.  The famous type/mould  amulet of the Pim Yai agree in Thailand is created mould by Luang Wijarn Jaeranai (the Palace gold smith in the King Rama 5th reign).

Basis identification ponit of the genuine Phra Somdej Wat Rakang Pim Yai (1).
a. The line control frame which is called "Wassana" or "Fate" line meaning "Million Baht" line.
On the left side of Phra Somdej, the Wassana line going from the upper left corner Phra Somdej (our right hand) down to the middle of Buddha's arm close to elbow.
On the right side of Phra Somdej, start from upper right corner lengthener to end on the arc at the same level of the third base.
The line control frame on the top Phra Somdej  is visible from upper left to right corner. The line on the bottom of Phra Somdej is usually cut off.
The Wassana line may be exits or does not exit. If it's exit the price that Phra Somdej could reach 7 digits.



b. On all 4 sides section view of Phra Somdej Wat Rakang, the surface are not smooth.  Some Phra Somdej can see crack line, small hole or gap and some materials.
