This amulet is Phra Somdej Wat Rakang Pim Yai Phra Prathan created in the latter era of Somdej Phra Buddhacharn Toh Phramrangsi (Somdej Toh) by the Royal Goldsmith, Luang Wijarn Jaeranai, developed printing style by etching with stone for gorgeous art and beautiful presented to Thai ancient noble.





This is the one amulet created by special texture and print is not able to found being traded in the amulet market.

The general texture for making Somdej comprise : Shell lime, Phong Vises (holy powder), assorted flowers from shine, rice remains after his consumption, lotus, banana, ashes from incense urns, honey, tung oil, ect.  But the surface of this Somdej most part is fine texture and has seen green color scattered whole amulet.

The green color comprised of special Jade from China and jasmine stem and printing style is most beautiful different from the general Somdej.

Historical and cultural, something that presented to Thai ancient noble should be special one or be not the similar or should be the masterpiece for each person.

Jade from China was occupied by the high rank of Thai ancient nobel. So these Somdej comprise Jade that mean this Somdej was created special for the high rank of Thai ancient nobel in a special occasion.

Jasmine stem, Somdej Toh collect from the people bring to pray in the temple. Somdej Toh bring Jasmin stem as one of material because of inspiration of the people who faith to the Buddhism bring Jasmin flower to present the Buddha. So Somdej amulet included Jasmin stem would be the representative worship, faith and admiration of the people.

Style print is different from general Somdej print such as :
     - the bell shape frame is symmetry,
     - beautiful tapered head shape sharp,
     - hair slim and small line,
     - beautifully proportioned body and deeply,
     - the rounded arm a pretty.

The front and back has been seen the brown color known as "tung oil" that seeps is everywhere.
 
This Phra Somdej Wat Rakang is one of  masterpiece possession by Chao Phaya, the highest rank of the Thai ancient nobility

Summary: This is an art, and that there is only one in the world (masterpiece) nobody has similar.  Each of batch of material and print style would created Phra Somdej different. No one can deny the content of materials that be full of the spiritual, faith, worship and contemplation by Somdej Toh.

It also has a recorded as the standard mold block no. 475 of The Directory of Phra Somdej Wat Rakang vol. 4 by Archarn Kla Katesurinchai (see photo). 

However, considering that it was a high art with a rich, deep content material. More over 140 years longevity with a single and hard to find another one. It is invaluable worth having accumulated a treasure to be proud.
