Phra Somdej Wat Rakang had a mixture of materials below

- mortar or lime powder from burned out shell is then ground to a fine powder. The surface will shine up skin. If mixed by using lime powder from fire stone the surface isn’t shine up skin.

- grace powder or holy powder as Iittijae, Tri-ni-singhae, Pattamang, Maharaj and Buddhaku. Somdej Toh making grace powder by remove from characters written into the slate.

- Buddhist mantra oil mixed-use and calcareous materials together.

- mature jackfruit make a yellow texture and cause the materials captured quick-freeze.

To build a Phra Somdej Wat Rakang by Somdej Toh.  He mixed lime or mortar powder and other materials together as main stuff of the texture of Phra Somdej Wat Rakang.

In the past, was not used measurement. But using prediction and experience of try mixing several times. So main stuff are not the same. Some more mortar mix.  Some little lime mixture. Some more banana texture mix. It caused the coarse texture or fine texture. So it’s make a different texture color of Phra Somdej.

No two Phra Somdej WRK are identical in every aspect of its quality even if it was made from the same Mold as well as its colour and texture.

The colour can range from White, Cream, Light Brown, Light Greyish, Light Yellowish etc.
