Insight the mass of Phra Somdej Wat Rakang.

The guru said that "....to consider Phra Somdej Wat Rakang must carefully consider 2 points, first is the texture, which is mortar shells (Burned out shell is then ground to a fine powder) and other mass, (dry pollen, cooked rice, grace powder) to mash the mixture is homogeneous stick together by Tung oil.  Time past hundred years, the texture was dry and mass is shrinking making dry pollen, cooked rice, grace powder separate from the texture. Some obvious, some not clear called "granular relics." and second is characteristic or print of Phra Somdej Wat Rakang. It take time to remember...."

There are some message said that "....different materials, different olds thereby shrinking inequality. it is caused a split around grain mass regularly. It is a myth that matter to consider Phra Somdej Wat Rakang genuine...."

Characteristics of Phra Somdej Wat Rakang could be summarized as follows :

1. The amulet texture looking old - texture has to look gentle eyes for about 146 years, the skin does not dry and stiff but look glossy when shines on the sun, translucent white stains, crichton stain and including some of a "tumor" apparent arose the amulet texture.


2. The shrinkage texture amulet - a crack, collapse, wrinkle, Ivory stripes, fracture line runs along the surface and edges of the rear of amulet and bumpy by mass disintegration.
 
 
 
 
3. Mass - divided into two types.
- shrinking mass separated from the amulet texture include relics granule (characteristic yellowish white, from flour crushed stone or flour plaster, Buddha old grind. Mixed with tung oil captured as grainy), pollen grain, cooked rice, grace powder.
(relics granule are part of a mass but mass is not called relics granule)
 
 

- solid mass (not contracted) in the crevices of the amulet texture that are shrinking.
* red granule from the Soom Kor broke and crushed.
* black granule from the charcoal kiln sea shells.
* red brick granule from the scrap red brick kiln sea shells.
* holy incense stick powder.
* ore granule white, opaque, light gray.
